In an attempt to prove just how good HG Hair Straighteners are, we asked a salon expert to try them out and give their honest opinion as to just how good they believe the straighteners are. We gave them the chance to use the entire range so they are able to give a complete overview.

So, on first impressions, what did you think of the HG Hair range?

“Well, I was surprised just how extensive the range was. There’s the Classic, the Classic Special Edition which has a unique design on the top of the straightener, the Diamond range which features two different styles of straighteners, one of which has both the design and the diamantes on and another that has just diamantes. Each range comes in black and hot pink, not only that but they come in a wide plated option also. There is so much choice. There is definitely something for everyone in the HG Hair range.”

After seeing the extent of the range you then took some away with you to try out. What did you think?

“To be honest I was a bit sceptical as to whether they would be as good as you claim, so I was surprised to find out they are! I decided to really put them to the test so I tried the wide plated straightening irons out on a client of mine that has really thick, course hair and they completely transformed her hair into sleek locks! I also tried out the classic straighteners on another client, but this time curled her hair with them. They worked really well, they didn’t snag her hair at all and they produced a mass of gorgeous curls. They really are very versatile; I can’t believe they are being sold for half the price of the leading brands!

Would you recommend them to your clients?

Definitely! I often get clients enquiring about straighteners. Many of them want a straightener that is as effective as the leading brand, but is not as expensive as they simply cannot afford them, especially with the whole credit crunch at the moment! I’d be happy to recommend HG Hair straighteners to them as they offer a fantastic straightener for a much more reasonable price! I’m so confident in the product I’d even be willing to sell them in my salon!
